A winner of the all-India National Science Talent Scholarship (scoring in the top
50 out of over 100,000 applicants), Mr. Sheshabalaya studied at the Birla Institute of Technology and
Science (BITS), a leading Indian engineering university.
Dual 99+ percentiles in the Princeton Scholastic Aptitude Test and a published collection of essays on women's liberation, the neutron bomb, the nuclear non-proliferation treaty, astrology and science, student rights and Taoism won him a rare Wien International Scholarship.
Admitted to a host of US universities including Harvard and Yale, Mr. Sheshabalaya enrolled in the philosophy program at Brandeis University.
However, he left after a term to begin his career as a journalist.
He graduated in economics and politics from Berhampur University in India. His schooling was done at Rishi Valley, a top Indian residential school, where he spent eight years. |
